HOW can you get the good stuff?
To make it most convenient for you - here are a couple options:
Cresset
Farm’s CSA
Community
Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between the local
farm and its members. The farm provides local, healthy, fresh
food and farm experiences as well as promoting and teaching ways
to live simply. Members support the farm through their
commitment to buy a share of the harvest, thereby creating a
market for the produce. The larger community
benefits from the preservation of farmland that protects the
environment in a way that is economically sustainable for future
generations.
Cresset Farm has implemented a new
on-line ordering & farm management system by "Farmigo" which
helps us handle all the information associated with running a
CSA, from sign-up to delivery. This will allow us
to provide better service to our members. Each
member will have their own password and will be able see their
account history.
Please make yourself familiar with our
Policies and Procedures
as it outlines the policies that keep Cresset Farm working
smoothly for all of our members:
Cresset Farm’s CSA Policies and
Procedures:
There are inherent risks of farming and
no guarantees concerning the type and exact amount of produce
one will receive.
It is the members responsibility to pick
up the weekly share of food from the chosen distribution
location during the designated time frame.
If you
cannot pick up your weekly share, it is your responsibility to
either inform the farm by Friday not to deliver that week's
share or to make arrangements to have someone pick up the share.
Please bring your own bags or boxes to transport the share.
It is not
Cresset Farm's responsibility to refund or credit the
member when the share was not picked up within the distribution
time frame or no arrangements with the farm or site coordinator
were made.
You
need to pay your membership in a timely manner and keep the
account information up to date.
Traditionally, members pay for
their CSA memberships in full, up front, which provides the much
needed cash flow for the farmers to prepare, plant and harvest
their crops.
To make payments, the
balance is due in two installments on June 15thand
July 15th for
the summer share and two payments due on October 15th and
November 15th for
the winter share.
Cresset Farm
communicates with its members primarily through email, including
weekly emails, recipes, and tips for processing and handling of
certain food items.
If you do not have access to email, I am
encouraged to request paper copies.
Pick up sites in Boulder:
